Chen Luyu is a Chinese news anchor and television presenter. She was born on February 4, 1977, in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. She graduated from Central China Normal University in 1999 with a degree in English language and literature.
Chen Luyu began her career as a journalist in 1999 with Hubei TV station, where she worked as a news anchor and producer. In 2004, she moved to CCTV and became a co-host of the popular talk show "Dialogue". She has interviewed many prominent leaders and celebrities, including former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Bill Gates, and Jackie Chan.
Chen Luyu is a household name in China and has won numerous awards for her journalism and broadcasting work. She was named the "Most Influential News Anchor in China" by the China Press and Publication Academy in 2011 and 2013.
Outside of her work as a journalist and presenter, Chen Luyu is also a philanthropist and social activist. She is the founder of the Chen Luyu Love Fund, which provides financial assistance to underprivileged children in China. She also supports programs that promote education and social welfare in rural areas.
Chen Luyu is married to Wang Xiaoping, a businessman, and they have a daughter together.
